The announcement was delayed due to the Los Angeles wildfires.
Leading the nominations is *Emilia Pérez*, a French-produced, Spanish-language film, with a total of 13 nominations. This marks a record for a non-English language film. *Wicked* and *The Brutalist* follow with 10 nominations each.
All three films, along with *A Complete Unknown*, *Conclave*, *Anora*, *Dune: Part Two*, *I’m Still Here*, *Nickel Boys*, and *The Substance*, are nominated for Best Picture, showcasing a wide array of cinematic achievements.
In the Best Actor category, Adrien Brody (*The Brutalist*), Timothée Chalamet (*A Complete Unknown*), Colman Domingo (*Sing Sing*), Ralph Fiennes (*Conclave*), and Sebastian Stan (*The Apprentice*) have been nominated. Chalamet follows James Dean as the youngest two-time best actor nominee, while Domingo is the first back-to-back Black best actor nominee since Denzel Washington.
