JEE Main 2025 Exam Rescheduled for Bengaluru Center Due to Technical Issues

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the rescheduling of the JEE (Main) 2025 Session-I exam for 114 candidates at a Bengaluru center. The decision comes after a technical disruption occurred during the January 22, 2025, Shift-1 examination.

According to the official notice issued by NTA, an ‘unavoidable technical issue’ at the e-Talent Examination Centre (TC Code-40086) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, led to the disruption of the exam. The specific location of the center is No.3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka.

As a result, the JEE (Main) 2025 Session-I examination for the 114 affected candidates has been rescheduled. These candidates will now take the exam on January 28 or 29, 2025. NTA will issue fresh admit cards to these candidates, along with the other candidates who were already scheduled to appear on these dates.

The notice explicitly states, “Due to unavoidable reason of technical snag in Examination Centre – eTalent, (TC code-40086), No.3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka, during the conduct of JEE (Main)-2025 Session-I (Shift-Tl) Examination on 22 January 2025, the examination for 114 affected candidates are rescheduled and will be conducted on 28/29 January 2025. These candidates will be issued with fresh admit cards along with other candidates scheduled to appear on the above-mentioned dates.”

This rescheduling only affects the 114 candidates who experienced issues at the mentioned Bengaluru exam center. Other candidates who took the exam on January 22, 2025, at different centers are not affected by this change.

The NTA has advised all affected candidates to frequently check the official NTA website for the latest updates regarding the rescheduled exams. The official notice can be found on the NTA website. Candidates will need to download their new admit cards, which will indicate their new exam date and time.
